 Very nice stands August 10, 2010

I held off ordering these because I have a 4 year old and was worried about him knocking them over on our hardwood floors but these have a very nice build quality. Heavy weighted base with rubber or spiked feet for carpet. I put the spiked feet inside when I assembled the stands so in case we ever move and I need to use them I'll know where they are. My only complaint is there isn't some kind of keeper to hold the cord in the notch on the bottom so when you move them to vacum or clean the cord comes out of the notch and the stand wont sit level until you move the cord back into the notch. Been meaning to place a bit of gaffers tape on it. Very very pleased with these. I had these speakers all bunched up on a wide entertainment center/tv stand and the voices were hard to make out and really hurt the surround sound, now that I have all these speakers separated voices are clear, distinct and the surround sound is amazing.

Be careful with the spikes at the bottom, used to anchor the stands to the carpet.

these work with the HK speakers.
my nephew hooked them up in less than 5 minutes !!
four of them !!
the speakers attach to the stands beautifully and they actually look like one piece.
the wires are fed through the stands easily.
they are extremely sturdy.
my dog ran into one, and it wobbled a little bit, but never fell over !!
that sold me !!!!!
