Fell apart during assembly June 5, 2010 J. Christie (Allen, TX USA) Had rather high hopes for this nice looking stand, but it did not work out that way. During assembly the collar that tightens the top and bottom rods seemed weak even without a speaker mounted. As I was mounting the speaker, the bottom rod sheared itself off from the base without any provocation. I was stunned and dumbfounded. Returned item that day to Amazon.
They get the job done. May 26, 2010 B. Gonzalez (Los Angeles, CA) This Sanus stand is great for very small speakers. I'm using them to hold up my Energy Micro's Energy RC-Micro 5.1 Surround Speaker System (Black). These stands could hold the regular energy classics without a problem, but anything larger i would start to worry a bit. The only problem I had was fishing the speaker wire through the stand. I was using wall jacketed speaker wire and it was just too thick for the top part of the stand. I ended up having to strip the jacket off the wires which allowed the wires to go all the way through.
Speaker Stands May 2, 2010 Carlos J. Martinez (Omaha NE) I purchased this Speaker stands a while back and was waiting to give them some serious usage. They are sturdy and very well built. They have fallen many times to the floor (I got 5 kids) and it's like nothing happened to them. Very good quality and a little later I'm thinking about buying another set for the front speakers.
Great product Great value March 5, 2010 Wheelyman17 (Detroit, MI USA) Definitely worth the price, easy assembly and adjust-ability. Sturdy design and doesn't tip. Only thing they could improve is hole size for speaker cables, not monster cable friendly, you need to use a smaller gauge speaker cable. Definitely would recommend to anyone to purchase.
Great Stands December 30, 2009 A. Cardillo (NJ United States) I originally bought a different pair of Sanus stands that I loved. I needed another pair so I decided to get another set. The kind I had were no longer available from Amazon. I bought these because they look the same.
These stands are just as good as the other ones I have. the only difference is the other Sanus stands have different stand-offs for the base. This does not.
Anyway These were a great price and they work perfectly. Easy to put together, easy to mount the speakers on them. easy to run the cable through the pole. These have a very small footprint also. the will fit in almost any area, and blend very well.
I will be buy another couple of pairs of these to use with a different surround sound system. Don't hesitate to buy these, you won't be disappointed.
