Product Description
The beveled-edge, hand-rubbed, black lacquer base is constructed of acoustically superior 3/4" MDF and comes with both premium adjustable carpet spikes and polyester feet. The extra thick MDF pillar is wrapped with a real hardwood veneer for the perfect combination of beauty and resonance damping. A unique wire management channel safely hides speaker cables behind the pillar. And the strong, but inconspicuous 1/2" MDF top plate comes with brass speaker studs and neoprene isolation pads.

These are the best stands I have ever owned. They are very stable and tall - perfect for larger, heavier satellite speakers. Also great looking and hides you cabling very well.

Received these from Crutchfield - the box had been damaged/busted open. I was missing one post and it was probably sitting on a UPS truck somewhere.

I called them and pursuaded them to over night me the post - since it was no fault of mine and I had paid for 2nd day air on the first shipment. Recommended that they reinforce the packaging on this product for future shipments.

Look no further, buy this product!

This works as expected. The back side is designed so that the cable from the back of the speaker is completely hidden all the way to below the lower base. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the whole piece seems a little unstable. It rests on a carpet not hardwoof floor. People with energetic little kids playing around it should probably consider other options. As long as they don't get bumped, however, your speakers shouldn't fall. I'm happy with my purchase. I specifically bought these bookshelf speaker stands because the back of my couch is high. These stands raises up my bookshelf speaker to a nice level just above couch.
